Pigi Paradise is an excellent location for those who want the peace and tranquility of a traditional Cretan village setting and yet be a short distance from the amenities and beaches.It has been built to exceptionally high standards and is next to the village of Pigi situated roughly 7km east of Rethymno and 2.5kms from the sea. Follow the old national road east from Rethymno and turn right onto the road for the Arkadiou Monastery.

There is a butcher, baker and a couple of small shops in the village of Pigi and two family owned tavernas where you can be sure of a warm welcome. Numerous tavernas and bigger shops in Adele and, of course, the same can be said for Rethymno only a 10 minute drive away.
Rethymno is approximately half way between Chania and Heraklion, where the airports are situated, and is the third largest town on Crete. It boasts a beautiful Venetian harbour and in the old town are many shops and tavernas just oozing character.
Some of the local activities are horse riding, cycling, mountain biking and walking. While water sports enthusiasts have swimming, scuba diving, wind surfing, paragliding and sailing to choose from.
With road improvements over the last few years, in particular the National Road which runs the entire length of the island, Rethymno is an ideal central position for exploring Crete.
